At this point, Ahsoka Tano is surely one of the fans' favorite female characters, especially for Star Wars devotees who have followed The Clone Wars and Rebels until their respective ends. Everyone familiar with Snips' moving, adventurous and frequently entertaining story arc will find it difficult to not fall in love with the unbreakable spirit, rebellious personality and last but not least -  the astounding talents and fighting skills of Anakin's apprentice.

Throughout Ahsoka's participation in the Clone Wars, the Jedi Knight has faced some of the deadliest warriors in the Galaxy, the most powerful of them being trained in the ways of the Force and has successfully stood her ground every time. Here are Ahsoka Tano's 10 toughest battles, ranked.

10 Hondo Ohnaka

In the episode "A Test of Strength" from the fifth season of Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano and Hondo Ohnaka fight in a surprisingly even-matched confrontation. Even without Force powers and wielding masterfully the Magnaguards' electrostaff, the pirate successfully countered the Jedi's lightsaber slashes. The trickiest part of the battle came later, when the ship they were fighting on was exposed to the vacuum of space - another trial, which Ahsoka survived with her flawless reflexes.

9 The Inquisitors

In the ninth episode of Rebels' second season - "The Future of the Force", the Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother were engaged by the powerful Jedi at a spaceport. Although clearly more powerful than either of the Inquisitors and their specialized double-bladed lightsabers, Ahsoka was forced to flee by boarding the ship Phantom in the last second and barely made it out with her life.

8 Asajj Ventress

"Cloak of Darkness" - the ninth episode of Clone Wars' first season provided fans with a brief duel between Asajj Ventress and a very inexperienced but still quite dangerous Ahsoka, who required the support of some of the Tranquility's infantry in the confrontation.

The duel ended in an indirect defeat for the padawan but it was yet another instance of her surviving despite facing a more powerful opponent.

7 Pre Vizsla

In "A Friend in Need" - the fourteenth episode of the fourth season, Ahsoka faced yet another powerful warrior who luckily wasn't trained in the Force. Pre Vizsla compensated for that through his remarkable swordsmanship skills that he demonstrated by wielding the Darksaber during his fight with the Jedi Knight. Despite never really losing her grasp on the duel, Ahsoka did take a nasty kick and had to work hard to evade the tricky swings of the famous Mandalorian.

6 Darth Maul

Many years later after their epic confrontation in "The Phantom Apprentice" - the tenth episode of Clone Wars' final season, Darth Maul and Ahsoka Tano fought again in Rebels but the duel wasn't nearly as intense.

At the end of the Clone Wars, Tano put her dueling skills, Force-manipulating capabilities, and her quick mind to the test against one of the greatest Dark Side users in history. Ahsoka's mission to capture the renegade Sith ended in a victory that was as hard-earned as any that she had ever achieved.

5 Rex and Clone Troopers

A battle that was much more difficult on an emotional and psychological level than it was in terms of fighting skills, Ahsoka was forced to outmaneuver his close friend Rex and the rest of the clone troopers in her company. In "Shattered" - the penultimate episode of the seventh season of The Clone Wars, Order 66 came into effect and the soldiers that she fought alongside for many years became her enemies. Ahsoka had to not only defend herself but do so in a way that didn't harm her brothers in arms.

4 General Grievous

Almost every Jedi and Sith who has ever faced General Grievous has found it extremely difficult to counter his four saber-wielding attacks and Ahsoka is no exception. In "A Necessary Bond" - the ninth episode of the fifth season, the droid General employed the full range of his skills, successfully knocking her down on the ground of the dusty plains of the planet of Florrum. Soon afterward, she retreated and escaped by boarding Slave I.

3 Obi-Wan and Anakin

At one of the darkest moments that Tano has ever experienced, she was temporarily turned to the Dark Side by the Son and fought not just her teacher Anakin but also his own master - Obi-Wan.

The confrontation, which took place in "Altar of Mortis", which is the third season's sixteenth episode demonstrated Ahsoka's undeniable skill as she held her own against two of the greatest Jedi in the galaxy, although they admittedly were attempting not to hurt her.

2 Barriss Offee

One of the greatest lightsaber duels in the history of The Clone Wars' show is Barriss Offee versus Ahsoka Tano from the "To Catch a Jedi" episode, which is season five's nineteenth episode. The battle occurred while Tano was on the run after being accused of murder. Anakin's apprentice fought incredibly well but the disguised Barriss dominated her in pretty much every way - in close combat, tactically, and with her use of the Force.

1 Darth Vader

The most physically demanding and psychologically taxing battle of Ahsoka Tano happened in "Twilight of the Apprentice", the finale of Rebels' second season. It pitted Snips against Darth Vader, who she once knew as Anakin - her former noble and kind master. After taking off part of his helmet and caught a glimpse of his face, Ahsoka was assured that she was fighting the man who used to be her mentor and one of her best friends. That was the best the Jedi could do. Vader overpowered her all the way through, despite his apprentice's brilliant dueling capabilities.
