Paramount+ has released a new promo for the shows set in its Star Trek universe.

The trailer begins with images from various images from Star Trek shows old and new, overlaid with a quote from Star Trek: Discovery lead Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green.) "We have always looked to the stars to discover who we are," Burnham says. A narrator then takes over, saying that the entire Star Trek universe will be available to stream on Paramount+.

These shows include Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard, alongside the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks. The trailer placed the spotlight on two new Star Trek series that will launch this year: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will spin out of Discovery and features the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) alongside Number One (Rebecca Romjin) and Lt. Commander Spock (Ethan Peck). Star Trek: Prodigy is the first series aimed toward a younger audience, and features six young outcasts who commandeer a ship and learn more about Starfleet. Kate Mulgrew is slated to reprise her role as Captain Kathryn Janeway in Prodigy.

In addition to the newer shows in the Star Trek universe, Paramount+ will also feature a selection of Star Trek films and the complete runs of previous Star Trek series. These include the original Star Trek series, as well as Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
