Paramount+ recently dropped a promo for the Star Trek Universe, narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart, which aired during Super Bowl LV.

The franchise spot premiered during the second half of the Super Bowl and featured a brief appearance and voice-over from Stewart, which started with a quote from Shakespeare's The Tempest: "We are such stuff as dreams are made of. Openness, optimism, curiosity. That is life. That's why we're here."

The spot not only featured Jean-Luc Picard (Stewart) from Star Trek: Picard, but other franchise players like Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Saru (Doug Jones) from Star Trek: Discovery, as well as Captain Pike (Anson Mount) and Spock (Ethan Peck) from upcoming series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The promo boasts that "every series, every episode" in the Star Trek franchise will be available on the new Paramount+ streaming service.

Stewart and other Star Trek actors appeared in several Paramount+ Super Bowl ads this weekend, which acted as a 90-second crossover with other Paramount properties, including characters like Beavis and Butthead, Spongebob Squarepants and Dora the Explorer as they embarked on an expedition to reach the peak of Paramount Mountain.

CBS All Access will soon be rebranded as Paramount+ and will feature content from networks like CBS, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, MTV and more. The streaming service launches in the U.S. and Latin America on March 4.
