A new motion poster for Star Trek: Picard teases a Romulan swordsman as the countdown to the show's premiere continues.
The Star Trek Twitter account posted a teaser featuring a Romulan in action, leaping high and brandishing a blade. The motion poster comes two months ahead of the show's debut on CBS All Access.
Given that the tweet states "Let the countdown begin," it's safe to assume more of these teases will arriving in the coming weeks as CBS gears up for the expansion of its web-based Star Trek offerings. Of course, we also recently learned Patrick Stewart almost turned down the role of Jean-Luc Picard, making it even more amazing that the character now has his own series after all these years.
Though the new tease doesn't offer fans much, we've already seen a trailer for Star Trek: Picard which catches up with the members of Next Generation in the show's timeline. And from the look of things, Star Trek die-hards are going to be seeing a lot of familiar faces when the series premieres next year.
Debuting in 2020 on CBS All Access, Star Trek: Picard stars Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Harry Treadaway.
