Picard will pick up with Jean-Luc and his crew 20 years after Star Trek: Nemesis. The Picard storyline occurs in the wake of the death of Lt. Comm. Data and the destruction of the planet Romulus.

The post-show discussion series is called The Ready Room, which is a nod to the Captain's private room on TNG that is accessible via the bridge. The show will air immediately after Picard on Thursdays, with Wheaton in the Captain's chair.

Star Trek: Picard stars Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, and Harry Treadaway. The series is set to premiere on CBS All Access Jan. 23, 2020.
