When CBS arrives at this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego, the Star Trek universe will come along for the ride. The convention will feature the first-ever back-to-back Star Trek panels at Comic-Con. The casts and producers of Star Trek: DiscoveryStar Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Lower Decks will be on hand for the extended "Star Trek Universe" series of panels.

Star Trek: Discovery star Sonequa Martin-Green will appear during the panel, alongside series executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Michelle Paradise and Heather Kadin. The panel will be moderated by comedian Tig Notaro, who guest starred on the series as Chief Engineer Reno. Following that, a panel for the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks will feature co-creator and executive producer Mike McMahan as well as a number of surprise guests.

The cast and crew of Star Trek: Picard will make their first Comic-Con appearance this year, ahead of the series premiere. The panel will include stars Sir Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Harry Treadaway. Series executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman and Heather Kadin will also be on hand to answer questions from fans during the panel.

Fans who attend the Star Trek portion of the convention will also be able to explore the "U.S.S. Discovery Transporter Experience"and a mock version of the U.S.S. Discovery. There will also be signings featuring the cast of the series and a special exhibition centering on the history of Captain Jean Luc Picard.

The Star Trek Universe panels will be held Saturday, July 20 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Hall H. Comic-Con International in San Diego runs Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.
