We now have our first look inside The Starship Enterprise from the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery Season 2. The image, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, sees Sonequa Martin-Green's Michael Burnham step foot inside the iconic vessel.

The Enterprise was first teased in the cliffhanger finale of Star Trek: Discovery Season 1. Aboard the classic starship is of course Captain Christopher Pike (the predecessor to William Shatner's James T. Kirk), who will be portrayed on the latest Trek series by Inhumans' Anson Mount.

Presumably (if Discovery chooses to adhere to classic Trek canon), Spock should also be on board the Enterprise, although the folks behind Discovery have been relatively secretive when it comes to the possible appearance of the legendary Vulcan on the new Trek show. However, Martin-Green recently hinted there's a pretty good chance we'll see Spock on the series, considering he was a science officer aboard Pike's crew at the time, as showcased in the original, pre-Shatner Star Trek pilot "The Cage."
