The general reactions to Thanos' infamous finger snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War has ranged from sadness, surprise, anger and excitement for how Earth's Mightiest Heroes will respond in the untitled Avengers 4. Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee has weighed in the controversial ending while offering a stern warning to the Mad Titan for destroying many of the superheroes he helped create.Lee returned from what he called a "discount vacation" to learn Thanos gathered all six Infinity Stones, allowing him to snap his fingers and wipe out half of life in the universe. While Thanos did leave Earth after completing his mission, the final moments of Infinity War showed the villain relaxing comfortably on a hillside watching a sunset. Lee has some motivation to see the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy return to defeat Thanos in Avengers 4; the longtime creator needs to keep his streak of Marvel Cinematic Universe cameo appearances alive.
