Comic book legend Stan Lee reveals has revealed that his role in Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron is his favorite cameo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Lee is no stranger to popping up in Marvel movies, first cameoing as a jury foreman in 1989's The Trial of the Incredible Hulk and appearing in everything from Spider-Man to this year's Avengers: Infinity War. Although it was Byran Singer's X-Men that kicked off Lee's modern trend of appearing in superhero movies and TV shows, the MCU has given some of his most memorable parts. Portraying the likes of mental patients and Fed-Ex delivery men, Lee has become a staple of the MCU as fans are constantly on the lookout for his surprising cameos.

Lee told Marvel HQ that his part as "Drunk Man" in 2015's movie is his favorite blink-and-you'll-miss-it part in the MCU's decade-long history. "Well, I think the cameo that's my favorite is the one I did [with] Thor," Lee revealed. "I'm standing in a bar with him and he's drinking this Asgardian drink, which is very powerful, and I ask for a sip and he says, 'No, it would kill you,' and I insist. And he gives me a sip and then in the next scene, they're carrying me out.

Continuing about why Age of Ultron tops the list, Lee continued, "Now you're saying to yourself, 'Why is this Stan's favorite cameo?' and you haven't thought of the real reason. It's the only one I did that has two scenes. So I'm hoping it does well. Next time, they'll give me three scenes. You never know where it'll end." Instead of being Lee's cryptic tie to the comic book Watchers and the reveal that all his MCU cameos might be connected, Lee instead made his choice based purely on which movie gave him the most screen time.

There are still plans for Lee to continue appearing in the MCU with the ex-Marvel editor-in-chief having already filmed cameos for Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers 4. Elsewhere, Lee is also expected to have snuck in a part for Captain Marvel and will presumably film roles for upcoming movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Whether anything will top Age of Ultron in terms of Lee's favorite remains to be seen, but who knows what the future holds.
