Legendary comics writer Stan Lee, who made a cameo last season on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," will soon be stopping by "Agent Carter" for his signature cameo.

According to Variety, the 92-year-old creator will appear in the Jan. 27 episode "The Blitzkrieg Button," where he'll have a brief encounter with Howard Stark, played by Dominic Cooper.

Lee and Jack Kirby introduced Peggy Carter as a wartime love interest for Captain America in 1966's "Tales of Suspense" #75. Portrayed by Hayley Atwell, Peggy has found new life on screen, first in 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger" and then in the Marvel One-Shot short film "Agent Carter."

The latter served as the basis for her eight-part ABC miniseries, in which she must balance her postwar duties with the Strategic Scientific Reserve while secretly assisting Howard Stark.

Lee, whose tradition of Marvel cameos stretches back to 1989's "The Trial of the Incredible Hulk," most recently appeared in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" and Disney's animated "Big Hero 6."

"Marvel's Agent Carter" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
