In a recent interview, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan spoke about filming the series and how it compared to his time shooting Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

“In a lot of ways, it felt like a movie,” Stan told THR. "What I loved about it was that, tonally, it was very much in the same world that Captain America: The Winter Soldier was, which was one of my favorite experiences that I’ve ever had, period. So, in a sense, it was grounded and very much in the world as we know it."

Stan went on to say that the series would be filled with exciting action scenes and interesting character-focused moments. "These characters are getting so much more mileage for all of us to explore them," he added. "We can put them in situations that we’ve never been able to put them in before because you now have six hours as opposed to two."

Anthony Mackie and Stan are reprising their Marvel Cinematic Universe roles as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, respectively. The series feature six episodes, which are to be released weekly.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier, along with several other MCU shows coming to Disney+, was delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
