Sylvester Stallone, Ian McKellen and Danny DeVito have all gone bananas for Animal Crackers.

TheWrap reports the three will join Patrick Warburton, Tara Strong, Gilbert Gottfried, Raven-Symoné, Harvey Fierstein, James Arnold Taylor and Lydia Taylor in the animated film from Blue Dream Studios.

The story focuses on a family that inherits an old circus, as well as a mystical box of Animal Crackers that transforms the person into whichever animal he or she eats.

Scott Christian Sava wrote the script with Dean Lorey (Arrested Development, Jason Goes to Hell) and is also co-directing the project with Tony Bancroft (Disney's Mulan).

“When I was writing Animal Crackers I had specific voices in my head," Sava said. "Certain characters I wrote with actors in mind. Horatio was always Sir Ian McKellen. Brock was totally Patrick Warburton. Bullet-Man could be no one else but Stallone! To find out that each and every one of these actors have agreed to come on board this film and bring these characters to life … I'm flipping out,."

Production has already begun and is looking to wrap by 2016.
