Spy x Family is a smash-hit anime series inspired by author Tatsuya Endo's manga of the same name, taking place in a Cold War-inspired world of political intrigue, stealthy spies and much more. Westalis and Ostania are on the brink of war, and in the middle of all this is the quirky but beloved Forger family, which has its fair share of secrets.
This family truly came to life when the Westalis spy Loid Forger proposed to the Thorn Princess assassin, Yor Briar, and Yor soon became a devoted foster mother to the adorable telepath Anya. Yor is one of the best parts of Spy x Family, including her charming and sweet personality, and her personality can be best described with her MBTI type.
Yor Briar's MBTI Personality Type: ISFJ, The Defender
Yor's personality type, the ISFJ Defender, ranks among the most common MBTI types, which is good news for any society. Defenders are humble, compassionate workers who always put others first, even if they are not terribly sociable. They will do all kinds of thankless work to keep a society, school or city running for the benefit of all. ISFJs are almost like the pillars of a society, including Spy x Family's fictional Ostania.
Defenders are known for their strong sense of loyalty and commitment, both out of duty and personal interest. These generous people will work hard to support true friends, family members and even strangers in need, meaning they are also reliable and diligent in all they do. In her family life, meanwhle, Yor has always been a model big sister for her brother Yuri, who looks up to her as a pillar. Yor took great pleasure in tutoring, cooking for and financially supporting Yuri, and any ISFJ would find that immensely rewarding.
In her new family life with Loid and Anya, Yor keeps up her Defender ways as the ideal wife and mother.
