Professional Japanese cosplayer Enako revealed her killer apparel of Yor Forger from Spy x Family on Fuji TV.According to SoraNews24, Enako was a guest on a manga-themed episode of Honma Dekka!? TV. The variety show featured a panel of celebrities talking about what manga series they were following and which ones they would recommend, like a televised book club. While most of the guests were dressed in regular attire, Enako appeared in a full-fledged costume of the number one assassin mom from Spy x Family. As the number one cosplayer in Japan, Enako owns a variety of outfits inspired by popular anime series like Inuyasha, Urusei Yatsura and Attack on Titan. In a YouTube video for the Japanese Business Drive channel, Enako estimated she has over 400 costumes in her gigantic cosplay room. In addition to her cosplay career, Enako provided voice work for the anime adaptation of Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen and Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! Enako is also a professional singer who launched her solo debut with the mini-album, Dress Re Code, on Dec. 16, 2020. She was previously a member of the now-defunct Panache!, an idol group made of cosplayers, but as of July 30, 2022, she is now a member of PPE41.

Spy x Family's Devoted Fandom

Fans worldwide have fallen in love with Spy x Family since its animated debut on April 9, 2022. The fandom produced numerous awe-inspiring creations in dedication to the Shōnen Jump series. One fan artist recreated the cover art of Spy x Family with the cast of Buddy Daddies. Another artist had Loid Forger and his daughter Anya meet Aki Hayakawa and Power from Chainsaw Man in a chance encounter on an elevator. Similar to Enako, a group of cosplayers dressed themselves up as Loid, Anya and Yor.

The manga release of Spy x Family dominates the New York Times Bestsellers list, with Volume 1 appearing in the top 15 for Feb. of 2023, alongside Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen. Wit Studio, the anime studio behind the series, is currently working on Spy x Family Season 2 and an original movie. Both projects are aiming for a Fall release.
