One thing that anime fans everywhere look forward to is the new groups of anime that come with each season. Every site adds an upcoming anime calendar and fans begin to map out which series they'll be following which always leaves a few series on the sidelines to be ignored, quality be damned.

This list will be looking at shows from each side of the lake with five  Spring 2020 seinen anime everyone is excited for and five that no one is talking about, whether this silence is due to poor quality or just because these series are sleeper hits that will become hidden gems of the season.

10 WE'RE EXCITED FOR: BAKI SEASON 2

Baki is a new Netflix anime that exploded in popularity due to it's exaggerated muscle-based art style and out of this world action. It's the story of Baki Hanma, the son of the strongest man in the world Yujiro Hanma, fighting to surpass his father in a series packed with some of the best and most gruesome martial arts violence in anime.

Baki is actually the sequel to the original anime, Baki the Grappler which was adapted from a manga of the same name. The new season of this sequel will be going into a new arc that will be bringing a lot more of the action that the series is known for with it.

9 NO ONE'S TALKING ABOUT:  TAMAYOMI: THE BASEBALL GIRLS

Tamayomi is an anime being adapted from a manga of the same name. This anime is obviously about baseball and follows behind Junior High School pitcher Yomi Takeda who had to hold back her "Magic Throw" due to the catcher on her team not being on her level.

She meets up with her long-lost childhood friend who actually is able to catch her "Magic Throw". Her friend's name is Tamaki Yamazaki, and together these two are ready to go back to baseball after being able to play on the same team with someone at one another's level.

8 WE'RE EXCITED FOR: BNA

Trigger's BNA (Brand New Animal) is an anime that very recently released and has been the talk of the town for anime fans everywhere. This series is certainly meeting Trigger's usual standards and it just released which is leaving viewers constantly thirsty for more.

This series takes place in a world with humanoid animals called Beastmen who have been revealed to the world. It stars the once normal and now Beastman female Michiru who gets mixed up in tons of strange adventures after meeting a wolf Beastman.

7 NO ONE'S TALKING ABOUT: THE MILLIONAIRE DETECTIVE: BALANCE: UNLIMITED

The Millionaire Detective is a series revolving around the very rich detective, Daisuke Kambe. This highly acclaimed detective is assigned to the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters which is a place where officers who are causing trouble with the Metropolitan Police Department are sent.

He is partnered with Haru Katou, an officer who is completely opposite from him in many ways including hating how materialistic the rich detective is. The two detectives must work together despite their differences to solve a number of strange mysteries.

6 WE'RE ALL EXCITED FOR: GHOST IN THE SHELL: SAC_2045

Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045 is an all-new take on the classic and critically acclaimed Ghost in the Shell series. This new version is a Japanese-American joint project taking the form of an animated web series coming to Netflix. It will be done fully in CG to the surprise of many longtime series fans.

The story is the same as always. Cybercrime is at an all-time high and the cyborg Motoko Kusanagi is in command of the crime-fighting team, Public Security Section 9.

5 NO ONE'S TALKING ABOUT: SING "YESTERDAY" FOR ME

Sing "Yesterday" For Me is a new anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Kei Toume. The series is based around the recent college graduate, Rikuo Uozumi who has taken a job at a convenience store. While leading his boring life he meets his ex-girlfriend, the eccentric Haru Nonaka and her pet raven.

The anime adaptation has been confirmed to have an 18 episode run and will be animated by Doga Kobo, the company behind the anime Umaru-Chan.

4 WE'RE EXCITED FOR: KAGUYA-SAMA

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is one of the anime that really kicked off last year and fans have been eagerly waiting for the series's continuation. Well, Spring 2020 has been confirmed to be bringing the series back for a new season.

The series is about the couple of Miyuki Shirogane and Kagura Shinomiya who happen to be council president and vice-president on top of dating each other. However, both are too proud to confess their love and whoever does so first will lose their little competition.

3 NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT: ARTE

Arte is a new historical seinen anime that follows the young girl named Arte. This young girl works to become an artist of the time period and must get past the period's gender norms as well as her aristocratic family's expectations.

It's a story that is based upon a manga of the same name that may have a simple premise but gets even larger as things move along.

2 WE'RE EXCITED FOR: KINGDOM

Kingdom is an anime based on the manga of the same name which is just as highly acclaimed as the former. This manga follows a story based on the Warring States period through the war orphan Xin who is fighting to become the greatest general on Earth.

After two very successful seasons, Kingdom is returning for a third season that fans have been looking forward to for what feels like centuries.

1 NO ONE'S TALKING ABOUT: BESSATSU OLYMPIA KYKLOS

Bessatsu Olympia Kyklos is a Japanese comedy anime that is being adapted from a manga series of the same name. The anime series was recently announced and will be a clay-animated short series.

It is about Demetrios, who is a shy vase painter in Ancient Greece. He hates sports and competition but is tasked to come up with a game to compete with the mayor of the neighbor town to save his village. Through a lightning strike he is sent to Tokyo, Japan during the 1964 Summer Olympics.
