The first trailer for the upcoming Nickelodeon film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run revealed John Wick star Keanu Reeves would be making a cameo. Now, it appears rapper/actor Snoop Dogg will also be making an appearance in the animated feature.

A Sponge on the Run TV spot was released for this year's Super Bowl featuring a brief glimpse of Snoop Dogg'. Other celebrities set to appear in the film include comedian Awkwafina and musician Reggie Watts.

Sponge on the Run will be the third film starring characters from the popular SpongeBob SquarePants Nickelodeon series. The first film, titled The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, released in 2004. That was followed by Sponge Out of Water in 2015, which was the first in the series to utilize CGI animation. Sponge on the Run, meanwhile, will feature mostly CGI animation combined with live-action filming.

Super Bowl LIV airs Sunday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox.

Written and directed by Tom Hill, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run features the voices of Tom Kenny, Awkwafina, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Douglas Lawrence and Reggie Watts. The film opens May 22.
