Spider-Man has some pretty amazing friends, and allies like Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen will play a pivotal role in the upcoming, newly announced series Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The series was announced today at the D23 Expo. The series will debut in 2021 on Disney Jr.

Spidey and His Amazing Friends will be geared towards preschool children and their families. The series follows not just the trio of spider-based heroes, but also Black Panther, Ms. Marvel and the Incredible Hulk as they fight some of the Marvel Universe’s most terrifyingly family-friendly threats.

“Preschool kids already love Spidey, so they’ll be delighted to have Peter Parker thwipping across their screens in this new series,” said Marvel Animation & Family Entertainment SVP Cort Lane in a statement to Variety. “Everyone at Marvel is thrilled to launch our first preschool series on Disney Junior, the gold standard platform for the audience. We believe parents and kids will be excited about these stories filled with themes of friendship, cooperation, solving problems and using your abilities to help others.”

Neither casting information nor an exact release date were revealed at D23, but the series is slated to launch in 2021. Marketing material for the series reveals doll-like visual interpretations of Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales and, of course, Spider-Man himself.
