The new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer just hit online and it really showed a ton of amazing things including the introduction of the multiverse. However, there are a lot of things in this new trailer that fans can piece together to try to figure out not only what will happen in the new movie but how this movie sets up the entire new Marvel Cinematic Universe.

There is more of Mysterio, a look at Nick Fury and Maria Hill, some nice Happy Hogan moments, and a look at Peter and his friends. Here is a breakdown of ten things you might have missed in the new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer.

10 SPIDER-MAN IS THE NEW IRON MAN

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

The new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer goes a long way to show how the world -- and Spider-Man himself -- is dealing with the loss of Iron Man. There are numerous things in the trailer -- where when added up -- shows that the MCU has placed Spider-Man in the spot that Iron Man used to hold in the movies.

Happy Hogan tells Peter that Tony Stark knew the world was in good hands with Peter. Nick Fury asks Peter is he is ready to step up after the Wall Crawler said the world needs an Iron Man. The police even ask if Spider-Man is the new Iron Man. The MCU is now Spidey's world.

9 SPIDER-MAN HAS A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH COPS

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

The one thing that has haunted Spider-Man in the comic books and the movies is his uneasy relationship with the police. From the start, the police always hunted down Spider-Man just as they did any villain. In the movies, and specifically the Amazing Spider-Man films, the police were hunting Spidey since he was a vigilante.

Based on Spider-Man cracking jokes with the police and even poking fun at them, it is clear that the dynamic has changed. Spider-Man was part of the group of heroes that helped save the world on a public stage and it is clear from this one scene that the world now embraces superheroes once again.

8 GHOSTING NICK FURY

There is one scene where Spider-Man and Happy Hogan are talking and Peter realizes that Nick Fury is trying to call him. Peter doesn't want to talk to him and Hogan tells him that he needs to. However, Peter sends Fury to voice mail, which causes Hogan to say that you don't ghost Nick Fury.

Fury proves that when he tracks Spider-Man down and convinces him to help him save the world. However, this scene is also an important one because it shows that Peter Parker is a lot more like Tony Stark than one realizes. Remember, Stark sent Fury as well as government officials like Thunderbolt Ross to voice mail on more than one occasion.

7 NICK FURY HAS A NEW ORGANIZATION

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

Take a look around Nick Fury in his base of operations and there are a lot of computers with him keeping track on a lot of things. Fury is the point-of-contact between Spider-Man and Mysterio and he is organizing the entire mission to save the world.

This sounds very familiar and while Nick Fury was ousted from S.H.I.E.L.D. when Hydra took over and wasn't added back into the golden circle onscreen since, it is clear that Fury and Maria Hill, who was also shown in the trailer, are running some sort of clandestine organization again. If it isn't S.H.I.E.L.D., could it be S.W.O.R.D. or its MCU equivalent?

6 THE MULTIVERSE

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

The big twist that was thrown into the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer was the introduction of the multiverse to the MCU. This is not new anymore, as Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse already introduced that idea last year, but this is something that could be huge for the MCU.

The fact is that the multiverse opens up some amazing options for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. On top of the possibility that we could see Miles Morales show up or at least the idea of a second Spider-Man from Mysterio's world, this is also a way that the MCU could bring in the X-Men or Fantastic Four and explain why they were never mentioned before in previous movies.

5 MYSTERIO'S WORLD WAS DESTROYED

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

There is a quick scene that shows devastation to a city, everything destroyed. Now, the way the trailer is cut together makes it look like this is part of the destruction caused during the battle that Spider-Man and Mysterio are fighting. That, however, is not likely the case.

Anyone who watched Umbrella Academy on Netflix saw a similar scene when the possible future of the world was shown during the time jump. This is not a possible future, but based on the fact that Peter Parker took off some special glasses at the same time this scene was shown makes it look like this is Mysterio's Earth -- or what is left of it.

4 WHERE ARE THE MARVEL HEROES?

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

Why is Nick Fury coming to Spider-Man of all people for help? The trailer gives three moments where that reasoning is explained. First, Spider-Man asks about Thor and is told that the God of Thunder is off the planet. Second, he asks about Captain Marvel and is told she is occupied with other duties.

Thor left with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man is dead, Captain America is old now, and Spider-Man is the best bet to help Nick Fury. That does not explain why he was chosen over Doctor Strange or Professor Hulk, but it is a small explanation. With that in mind, the fact that Maria Hill says Captain Marvel is on another mission makes it sound like Nick Fury is the point-of-contact with Carol Danvers once again -- another hint that something like S.W.O.R.D. is not in existence.

3 IS IT ALL AN ILLUSION

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

As mentioned earlier, the fact that the destroyed world was shown right after a shot of Peter Parker taking off some special glasses was a hint that the world was Mysterio's world. However, there is another thought here that might tie into Mysterio from the comic books.

In the comics, Mysterio is the master of illusion. He is a special effects maestro. He has the ability to create these giant monsters and creatures that he is forced to fight. In the comics, he staged many things to make himself look like a hero as well as to fake an alien invasion. Could the glasses, and other items in the trailer, be Mysterio creations?

2 MYSTERIO HAS AN OMINOUS WARNING

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

It is important to listen to dialogue in these trailers and see if there is a hidden meaning behind the words. When Peter Parker first meets Mysterio, he said: "we could have used someone like you on my world." Is this a comment that could mean he wishes they had a hero like Spider-Man, or it could mean he is angry this world has heroes and his didn't.

However, there is an even more ominous line later. In a scene that ties into Peter Parker still unsure of his place after the loss of Tony Stark, Mysterio tells Spider-Man that "saving the world requires sacrifice. Sometimes people die." This could be a pep talk, or it could foreshadow that Mysterio is the villain and he will kill as many people as needed to save his world.

1 MJ KNOWS SPIDER-MAN'S SECRET IDENTITY

Spider-Man: Far From Home: 10 Things You Missed In The First Trailer

The last big twist in the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer has Peter talking to MJ. It seems that he wants to tell her that he likes her but she takes the conversation in another direction where she lets him know it is obvious that he is Spider-Man.

However, Marvel likes to cut their trailers together in a way that confuses the meaning of conversations. This seems like a perfect moment where this is not really what they are saying. More than likely, this is more of her joking that he is Spider-Man and then making it clear it is obvious he likes her but was cut together in a way to misdirect fans. It has happened before.
