Sony reportedly plans to add another live-action feature film to its growing Spider-Verse with Spider-Woman, starring Jessica Drew.

According to Twitter user DanielRPK, Sony is developing a Spider-Woman film with Jessica Drew in the starring role.

Spider-Woman movie would join the likes of Tom Holland's Spider-Man: HomecomingSpider-Man: Far From HomeVenom and the upcoming Morbius in Sony's live-action Spider-Verse. Whereas the two Spider-Man movies directly tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the inclusion of Venom and Morbius is still up for debate.

Holland is reportedly in talks for an appearance in Venom 2, though negotiations were in the early stages back in December. Also, Venom director Ruben Fleischer says a clash between Holland's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom is inevitable. Other Spider-Man characters set to star in future Spider-Verse films include Kraven the HunterMadame WebSilver Sable and Black Cat. There are also reports that Jessica Drew and Silk will headline an all-female Spider-Verse spinoff.

According to information in the Sony email leak in 2015, Jessica Drew is is a hero that can be used between Sony and Marvel Studios. Sony reportedly can depict Jessica Drew as Spider-Woman, whereas Marvel can use the character without referring to her Spider-Man traits.

The next superhero film due out from Sony is Morbius. Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius stars Jared Leto as the titular character, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft, Tyrese Gibson as Agent Stroud and Jared Harris in an undisclosed role. The film arrives July 31.
