The tweet features a picture of Spider-Man looking into an interdimensional portal, accompanied by the caption, "See you in another dimension." While it doesn't offer anything other than that, the tweet's timing and mention of another dimension is enough to have fans wondering if there might be a connection between the upcoming Spider-Man sequel and the animated film.

Spider-Man: Far From Home producer Eric Carroll recently confirmed that Miles Morales would not appear in the sequel -- but that doesn't mean that a crossover with Into the Spider-Verse is out of the question... somehow.

Opening July 2, director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon and Martin Starr, with Marisa Tomei and Jake Gyllenhaal.
