Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse concept artist Ian McQue shared some alternate designs for the film's Blu-ray SteelBook.

The designs feature Spider-Man/Miles Morales, Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman/Spider-Gwen. McQue shared some rough pencil sketches as well.

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman and written by Phil Lord and Rothman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opened in theaters on Dec 14, 2018. The film follows Miles Morales as he learns how to control his newfound spider powers with the help of different versions of Spider-Man from alternate dimensions, including classic Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man Noir, SP//dr and Spider-Ham. The film was a critical and commercial success, earning $375.5 million at the box office.

Sony has big plans for the Spider-Verse franchise. A full sequel with Takuya Yamashiro, the main character from Japanese Spider-Man, is in development. There is also a possibly that Spider-Man 2099 will make an appearance, as the character made a cameo in the first film's post-credit scene. A Spider-Women movie starring Spider-Gwen, Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman and Cindy Moon/Silk is also in development, along with an animated spinoff series.

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars Shameik Moore, Brian Tyree Henry, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber, Luna Lauren Velez, Lily Tomlin, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney and Kimiko Glenn.
