The following article contains spoilers for Spider-Punk #2 by Cody Ziglar, Justin Mason, Jim Charalampidis and VC's Travis Lanham, on sale now from Marvel Comics.

The Spider-Band has a new member, with the latest issue of Marvel Comics' Spider-Punk introducing Earth-138's version of Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel.

Spider-Punk #2 is written by Cody Ziglar, illustrated by Justin Mason, colored by Jim Charalampidis and lettered Travis Lanham. Picking up right where issue #1 left off, the comic sees the Spider-Band -- Hobie Brown/Spider-Man, aka Spider-Punk; Karl Morningdew/Captain Anarchy; and Riri Williams/RiotHeart -- locked in battle with a Misfits-inspired variant of Taskmaster, as well as Kraven & The Hunters. When our heroes find themselves in a pinch, their friend Kamala Khan arrives on the scene to give them a hand -- quite literally.

Created by Sana Amanat, Stephen Wacker, G. Willow Wilson, Adrian Alphona and Jamie McKelvie, Marvel's main, Earth-616 version of Kamala Khan first appeared in 2013's Captain Marvel #14. Kamala became the fourth hero to take on the name of Ms. Marvel, following Carol Danvers, Sharon Ventura and Karla Sofen. Kamala will soon make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Marvel Studios' Disney+ original series Ms. Marvel, due to premiere on June 8.

Meanwhile, Ziglar and Mason's version of Kamala Khan certainly looks right at home in Earth-138. She is seen sporting a grungy version of her iconic outfit, complete with a flannel tied around her waist and a guitar slung over her shoulder. On her right hand, she also has a knuckle duster with the word "embiggen" written in reverse, an obvious nod to her Inhuman powers.

That said, it remains to be seen if this version of Kamala actually goes by the name Ms. Marvel. Notably, while Earth-138's version of Hobie Brown is simply known as Spider-Man in his universe, he's grown more accustomed to the Spider-Punk moniker as of late -- much to Karl's chagrin. Speaking of Karl, rather than simply being his universe's version of Captain America, he goes by Captain Anarchy, an apparent reference to the Anti-Flag song of the same name. Finally, Earth-138's version of Riri is known as RiotHeart, as opposed to her Earth-616 counterpart, who goes by Ironheart.
