Footage, supposedly from behind-the-scenes of Spider-Man: No Way Home, appears to have leaked online, showing none other than Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield on set as his iteration of Peter Parker and confirming his involvement in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe-set film.

The video is comprised of a series of clips showing cast and crew, including actor Tom Holland. Andrew Garfield can be seen in front of a blue screen, in costume once again as Spider-Man. He can be heard saying what some believe to be, "So there is no way back," and others believe to be, "Something like that."

On its own, the video hardly confirms Garfield's participation in the film, and there is still some measure of uncertainty surrounding the validity of the video and even the audio attached. However, it is worth noting that this clip has been circulating for a week and Sony has apparently taken steps to have it removed, as well as screenshots from it, lending credence to its legitimacy.

Garfield has been asked about his involvement in the past. In a recent interview, the actor denied reprising the role for No Way Home, stating, "It's important for me to say on the record that this is not something I'm aware I am involved in... But I know I'm not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don't know what’s happening... No matter what I say... It's either going to be really disappointing for people or it's going to be really exciting."

Garfield is not the only one speculated to be reprising his role. Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire is also rumored to be reprising his version of Spider-Man for No Way Home. Sony and Marvel Studios have not confirmed either of these rumors. What has been confirmed is Alfred Molina's return as Doc Ock, who appeared in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer.

The long-awaited trailer initially leaked online before Sony released the edited clip. The trailer quickly went on to break an MCU record for the most-viewed trailer, surpassing the view count of Avengers: Endgame's first 24 hours. The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer was viewed 355.5 million on first day of its release, where Endgame saw 289 million views on its first day.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to arrive in theaters on Dec. 17.
