For Marvel fans, the image naturally brings to mind Spider-Man's adversary Green Goblin. Recent reports suggest that Green Goblin will be the main villain in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film, with Willem Dafoe reprising his nefarious role. Dafoe first played Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. Rumors circulated for months regarding Dafoe's return until February, when he was spotted on the film's set.

Green Goblin won't be the only enemy that Tom Holland's Spider-Man will face in the new movie. With Alfred Molina returning as mad scientist Doctor Octopus, some believe that Spider-Man: No Way Home will introduce the Sinister Six. Infamous from the comic books, the Sinister Six are a group of supervillains, with Kraven the Hunter and Sandman among the group's original formation. The team's members varied over the years, but Doctor Octopus typically retained leadership with each incarnation.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx as Electro. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 17.
