A passionate gamer celebrated Spider-Man's return to the big screen by using the in-game assets from Marvel's Spider-Man to recreate the poster of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The illustration depicts Spider-Man in a similar pose to his movie counterpart, though there are a few differences in the details. Spider-Man himself is garbed in a dark and yellow suit, as opposed to the red, gold and blue colors of the original. Similarly, Doctor Octopus' tentacles received some upgrades, with the game version possessing a sleeker design in comparison to the metallic arms from the movie. Sharp-eyed fans might also spot the silhouette of the Vulture in the background of the fan-art, substituting for No-Way Home's Green Goblin.

Marvel's Spider-Man was developed by Insomniac Games and released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in 2018. It received a positive reception from players, with praise aimed particularly at its web-swinging traversal system and smooth combat mechanics. Since its release, the game received a three-part DLC, as well as a spinoff sequel titled Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which focused on Miles a year after he was taken in as Peter's student.

The series will also be receiving a third entry into its lineup with the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man 2. While not much is currently known about the threequel, a trailer unveiled during PlayStation's 2021 Showcase confirmed that Spider-Man's comic book nemesis Venom will likely be one of the main antagonists of the title.

Marvel Studios' Spider-Man franchise didn't slack behind with the release of No Way Home. The third Spider-Man movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe became one of the most successful premieres of the year, grossing over $1 billion at the box office within two weeks of its release and winning review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes' Golden Tomato Award after becoming the best-reviewed movie of 2021.

After No Way Home's release, actor Tom Holland spoke about his experience playing the role of Spider-Man, commenting on Peter's growth throughout the Marvel films. "He really has been the Spider-Boy, and this film is about him becoming Spider-Man. It's about him growing up, making his own decisions, and stepping up to the plate as a full-blown Avenger," Holland said.

Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales are available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for launch in 2023 exclusively for PlayStation 5. Spider-Man: No Way Home is now in theaters.
