Throughout his life, Peter Parker has met a lot of men that he's grown a strong bond with. From the man who raised him to the heroes who've aided him as Spider-Man, a lot of guys can't help but feel sorry for Peter's constant struggles and try to give him the advice to make him a better person.

Some may not be around for long, while others still have his back to this very day. So, as always, we took a look at the ten best father figures in Peter Parker's life.

10 Norman Osborn

We know what your thinking, why would Norman Osborn ever want to help Peter out? Before he became the Super-Villain, Green Goblin, Norman took a lot of interest in Peter. Unlike his son, who was having difficulties keeping his grades up and was seen as a disappointment in his eyes, Norman tried to help the boy so that he could unleash his potential and hoped that Peter could succeed him. However, when Norman injected himself with the serum that made him the Green Goblin, that friendship ended, and the two have been arch-enemies since.

9 Otto Octavius

Before he was the villainous Dr. Octopus, Otto Octavius was a brilliant scientist that wanted to make the world a better place. In different incarnations of the character, like the PS4 Spider-Man game, he was not only an employer and former teacher to Peter Parker but like a second father to the young man.

After discovering Peter was Spider-Man(though he lied by saying that Peter just worked for Spider-Man), Otto designed the Suit Peter would use for the rest of the game. Sadly, the decent man was consumed with bitterness when Norman Osborn cut fundings from them and used his robotic arms to get revenge on the Mayor of NY.

8 Happy Hogan

Happy Hogan is kind of like the Full House Joey of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He may come off as a bumbling side-kick to Tony Stark, but he's just doing the best he can, given how Tony was continually getting himself into life-threatening situations. Though he treated Peter as an annoyance, during the events of Homecoming, Happy stepped up after Tony sacrificed himself in Endgame. When Peter was at his lowest and was defeated by Mysterio, Happy picked him back up and helped him take on the Master of Illusions.

7 Nick Fury

Like any grumpy old guy, Nick Fury shows his appreciation through "tough love." Nick may have a few questionable methods of how he gets the job done, but he does it so he can keep the world safe from the super-villains that try to destroy it. During the Ultimate Spider-Man tv series, Nick Fury mentors Peter so that he can become the best hero, even better than Captain America and Iron Man. Even in the Ultimate comics, Nick Fury aids Spider-Man through his toughest adventures.

6 Captain America

Captain America is practically everyone's dad. He stands for truth and the American way, he's foughten in WW2, and he's just an all-around good guy.

During Spider-Man's early adventures(as well as in the Ultimate Universe), Captain America admires the work he's done by keeping NY safe and has even given our young hero a few pointers when fighting the bad guys.

5 Robbie Robertson

When Peter first got a job at the Daily Bugle, he was yelled at continuously and belittled by his boss, J. Jonah Jameson. Luckily, Peter had a few friends in his career that could help him out when he was feeling down, like Robbie Robertson. Unlike JJ, Robbie sees the good in Spider-Man and often kept JJ in check whenever he started acting out on Peter. He even let Peter bunk with his son, Randy, who were already good friends and paid for the rent.

4 George Stacy

Captain Stacy may not have had the smarts like some of Peter's other father figures, but he helped Spider-Man on a few occasions. Back when he was still kicking, George was sort of Spidey's version of Commissioner Gordon, an ally in the police force that trusted Spider-Man and saw him as someone who'd do good, not the dribble that Jameson spewed out from the Daily Bugle. He even figured out that Spider-Man was the guy who was dating his daughter. Sadly, during a battle between Spider-Man and Doc Ock, Captain Stacy died when saving a child from falling debris.

3 Max Modell

Like some of the greatest scientists in the Marvel Universe, Peter idolized Max Modell and the work he's done with Horizon Labs. The two are even seen helping Jameson's son with a mission on the Apogee 1 Space Station. Since working for Max, Peter has been able to use the technology at Horizon to aid him in fight crime.

Max has even helped the likes of Mr. Fantastic and Spider-Man during the Spider-Island event. So, whatever mask Peter puts on, he can always count on Max to help him out. He did host Max's wedding, after all.

2 Tony Stark

He may not treat Spider-Man like a son in the comics, but Tony Stark has been helping Tom Holland's version of Spider-Man since he saved Peter's life back in Iron Man 2. Tony isn't a perfect guy to look up to; he's arrogant, get's jealous easily, he's self-absorbed, and can be so insecure that he accidentally causes half the problems in the MCU. Despite this, Tony has a heart of steel and has taught Peter that helping the little people is just as important as saving the entire world. He's even coached him through the fiercest battles and educated him that it's not the suit that makes you a hero, it's what's on the inside that counts.

1 Uncle Ben

Were you expecting anyone else? Richard Parker may have given birth to Peter, but Ben Parker raised the boy to become the man he is today. He's given Peter a place to call home and has shown nothing but love and support throughout his childhood and adolescents. But, most importantly, Uncle Ben has given Peter a philosophy that he lives by to this day; "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility." He may no longer be with us, but Uncle Ben will always be the man.
