Tom Holland showed off his shredded physique in a selfie as filming remains underway on Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: No Way Home.

"I never post shit like this but it's our last day so fuck it," Holland wrote in an Instagram story. "Thank you [celebrity trainer Duffy Gaver] for making everything about this job better. Love you pal." It's unclear if Holland is implying that this is his final day of training or filming, though it was previously reported that principal photography was expected to wrap in late March.

Spider-Man No Way Home Done Filming

No Way Home will pick up in the aftermath of Spider-Man: Far From Home's mid-credits scene, in which Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) -- via a video recorded prior to his death -- framed Spider-Man for his murder and revealed Peter Parker's secret identity to the world. Previous set videos and photos, along with Sony's viral marketing, indicate Mysterio's presence will continue to be felt in the film, as some New Yorkers expresses their support for Spider-Man while others believe Beck's deception and call for the web-slinger to be brought to justice.

In addition to focusing on Peter's efforts to clear his name, Spider-Man: No Way Home is heavily rumored to explore the Marvel multiverse in a storyline recalling 2018's animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. What's more, the film will reportedly feature multiple villain actors from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man movies, including Jamie Foxx as Electro, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock and possibly Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin. Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will similarly play a role in the film, as part of the lead-in to 2022's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

A recent Spider-Man: No Way Home casting call also pointed to a courtroom scene, meaning Peter may end up having to profess his innocence in a court of law, on top of defending himself in the court of public opinion. And speaking of the law: Charlie Cox will reportedly reprise his role as defense attorney Matt Murdock from Netflix's Daredevil in the movie, marking his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in light of the rumored multiversal plot, it's unclear if this would be the same version of the character Cox has played in the past.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Tony Revolori, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina and Benedict Cumberbatch. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 17.
