Tobey Maguire's iteration of Spider-Man was spotted in an official piece of promotional material for No Way Home.

Twitter user @Dominic_kravitz posted an image of a Bark Box pamphlet themed around the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home. The visual element of the flyer includes Tom Holland's Peter Parker represented in a variety of styles, yet in the upper right corner, part of Maguire's Spider-Man is easily identified. The shape of the eye and the stylized webbing is instantly recognizable as the version of the character that appeared in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy.

Many fans instantly called out the original post as a hoax, doubting the validity of the image. @Dominic_kravitz responded to these accusations by posting a video of himself actually holding the pamphlet, moving it around and zooming in Maguire's head. "So yeah, there is the image. It is not fake, I did not fake this. So there you go, I hope that's proof enough that this is real," said @Dominic_kravitz.

A quick glance at the official website of Bark Box confirms that the company is indeed running a promotion themed around Spider-Man: No Way Home. The subscription box functions in a similar way to Loot Crate in that dog-owners can receive monthly packages that include surprises for their four-legged friend. The No Way Home box features several toys based on Spider-Man and Doctor Strange as well as a recipe for lamb-flavored "Spidey Bites."

This potential leak is just another in a long line of rumors surrounding the possible return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their respective Peter Parkers in No Way Home. Numerous photos suggest that the actors will be reprising their roles, uniting with Tom Holland's depiction of Spider-Man to overcome a horde of villains pulled from across the multiverse. Neither Disney nor Marvel has addressed the leaks.

Even if Tobey Maguire isn't returning as Spider-Man, fans of Sam Raimi's trilogy will no doubt be pleased to see Willem Dafoe reprise his role as Norman Osborn AKA The Green Goblin. Beyond that, the most recent trailer thrilled fans when it showed closer looks at Jaime Foxx's Electro (with a more comic-accurate appearance), Rhys Ifans' Lizard and Thomas Haden Church's gigantic Sandman.

Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in theatres on 17. Dec.
