A British movie theater chain that's pre-selling tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home is giving a listed runtime for the film that would make it the longest solo film in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Based in London, Cineworld is the world's second-largest movie theater chain, with nearly 10,000 locations in ten different countries. So, therefore, a theater listing on its website is a bit more believable than a similar listing on a smaller chain of theaters. According to its ticket listing, No Way Home will have a runtime of 150 minutes.

Two and a half hours would be a significant runtime for an MCU film. In the history of the MCU, there's only two film that has reached 150 minutes long and that would be Avengers: Endgame's 182 minutes (Infinity War came in just under at 149 minutes). This would be the longest runtime, then, of a solo Marvel superhero film.

On the one hand, it would make a lot of sense for this film to have such a long runtime, as the film is dealing with the Marvel Multiverse and will be the first of the MCU releases to really delve into the Multiverse following the return of the Multiverse in the Loki Disney+ series (ahead of next year's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), so there is a lot of ground to cover, and if rumors are true that we will see the return of the previous film Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, then it makes sense to want to give the story a lot of space.

In addition, while no other MCU films have hit 150 minutes, a lot of them have come relatively close. The first Spider-Man MCU film, Homecoming, was 133 minutes and the sequel, Far From Home, was 129 minutes long. Currently, the longest solo MCU film was Captain America: Winter Soldier, which clocked in 136 minutes, just 14 minutes shy of 150. So it is not absurd to think that No Way Home could come in at 150 minutes long.

However, it also seems awfully suspicious that news like this would break from a movie theater ticket listing and not the film company itself. In addition, the round number of 150 lends credence to the idea that it is simply a placeholder time and not the actual runtime of the film.

Finally, the fact remains that this exact thing happened in 2019 when the film chain AMC started selling tickets for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, citing a 155 runtime when the actual film had a 142-minute runtime. So there is a very good chance that this runtime is not legit.
