Members of the press who screen Spider-Man: No Way Home apparently won't be seeing the film in its entirety.A number of insiders, including Big Screen Leaks, are reporting that the press screenings will only feature about 40 minutes of the actual movie, though they'll be invited back to see the rest of it later that week. This is said to be just enough to give journalists some context for upcoming junkets and other press events.RELATED: Spider-Man: Homecoming Writer On Why Peter's Secret Identity Was Revealed So Early

Beyond the aforementioned 40 minutes supposedly being just enough footage to give journalists' context, it's also believed the limited amount of footage being shown is meant to prevent certain spoilers from leaking before No Way Home's theatrical release. Notably, the debut of Harry Styles as Starfox/Eros in Eternals was spoiled ahead of the movie's November release after the world premiere when a Variety writer tweeted it out. "To our colleagues and friends in the press and fan community who will be watching Eternals in the days ahead, please help preserve the experience of this incredible film," Walt Disney Studios President of Marketing Asad Ayaz wrote shortly after. "Please do not post spoilers and reveals that so many have worked so hard to protect."

As for what spoilers from No Way Home Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are attempting to keep webbed up, one can't help but wonder if they pertain to Spider-Man's Tobey Maguire or The Amazing Spider-Man's Andrew Garfield, both of whom have been notoriously rumored to appear in the film but have yet to be confirmed. Garfield, in fact, has even gone on record to say he's done answering questions about his possible return, instead suggesting people simply wait to see the movie to find out.

"Listen, at this point, people just, like ... I'm done," he recently explained. "Like, we'll find out when the movie comes out and we'll either be very disappointed, or we'll be very happy, or like, someone will say, 'I told you so.' And the other person was a bit, 'I told you so.' We'll all find out."

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in theaters Dec. 17.
