Tom Holland's Peter Parker looks like he could use a medic in a new Spider-Man: No Way Home promo.

The video shows Spidey facing off against several unseen foes. The footage, which was released through Sony Pictures Singapore, is accompanied by text that teases "everything will be revealed" in the film. Additionally, the promo captures a kiss between a battered and bloodied Spidey and Zendaya's MJ. Unfortunately, their intimate moment is interrupted when the promo cuts to show Peter saying "Do it" to Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange, prompting the Sorcerer Supreme to cast a massive spell.

Despite getting into some epic fights, the sight of a bloodied Peter Parker hasn't been too common in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanks to the help of Stark Industries' various suits, Holland has been able to rely on nano-fiber technology to keep him in one piece. This general well-being stands in stark contrast to previous Peters Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Their costumes would often wear and tear over time in the original Spider-Man trilogy and the Amazing Spider-Man films, respectively. In an interview, Holland expressed a desire to see his Spider-Man in a torn costume similar to his predecessors, which he believes added a sense of realism to their final fights. These comments seem to have been a subtle clue by Holland to the scene captured in this footage, where Spidey could definitely use the help of a medical professional.

Though the promo doesn't show the source of Peter's pain, it does imply he'll be reaching out to Doctor Strange for aid. This cry for help makes sense, given that the Sorcerer Supreme has been featured heavily in Spider-Man: No Way Home's promotional materials. The film's plot places Strange at the center of a multiverse-threatening event after Peter convinces him to rewrite reality and erase Spider-Man's secret identity from the public consciousness, which accidentally creates portals into other dimensions. However, given how much of No Way Home's plot remains a tightly guarded secret, it is unclear what relationship the two will have as the story unfolds. A recent clip from No Way Home suggests that Doctor Strange's spell may be different than what was initially shown to fans, casting doubt on their dynamic.

Whatever the truth reveals, it is obvious that Spider-Man: No Way Home is on track to be a success. Early pre-sales for the movie caused multiple websites to crash from the high demand, while Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige claims that anticipation for No Way Home is as high as Avengers: Endgame. These projections practically guarantee that the film will be one of the biggest hits of the year. Should this prove to be the case, it ensures a well-deserved payday for everybody involved, so hopefully, Holland can get somebody to patch him up properly.

Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into theaters on Dec. 17.
