A new piece of promotional footage showcases the many dangerous situations Peter Parker will find himself in during Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The trailer confirms that tickets are now on sale for No Way Home, which is scheduled for release Dec. 17. While there are no shocking new reveals regarding the rumored cast, it does show a previously unseen exchange between Peter and his friends. While Peter and Ned are locked in a repetitive back and forth of disbelief, Zendaya's MJ interrupts to remind Spidey of the immediate threat of their pursuers before they both leap from a bridge to escape.

Based on MJ's attire, the scene will be the direct continuation of the ending of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The film concluded with a shocking after-credits moment in which Mysterio bested Peter from beyond the grave by revealing his secret identity and framing him for his death and the attack on London. Trailers for the upcoming film have given glimpses at the scene that follows, with Peter carrying MJ in a web-swinging escape from the police.

The new trailer also provides a closer look at some of the adversaries Peter will be fighting, such as Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus, reprising his role from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2. Peter can be seen challenging the mad scientist while wearing his Iron Spider suit, allowing him to confront Doc Ock's four robotic arms with his own. A recent trailer confirmed that despite knowing his name, Octavius did not recognize the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Peter as Spider-Man, making it clear he had been lifted from another universe.

Peter can also be seen facing off against two more returning villains from previous live-action iterations of Spider-Man. Jamie Foxx returns as his version of Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. His previous blue skin has been reverted back to normal, and his lightning is the iconic yellow from the comics. Peter is also trying to catch one of the Green Goblin's pumpkin bombs, and is even in conflict with his ally Doctor Strange, with the new footage showing the reality-bending chase that occurs when he attempts to steal an artifact from the Sorcerer Supreme.

While Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be the conclusion of the first trilogy of MCU Spidey films, recent remarks suggest that Sony would like to continue making films with Marvel, with the implication that the plan would be to keep Tom Holland in the role.

Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into theaters and IMAX on Dec. 17.
