Face it tiger, Kirsten Dunst isn't coming back for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Fresh off of comments made by Tom Holland that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be bringing three generations together, Dunst has denied rumors that she will be appearing in the film. The actor, who played Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, told Total Film magazine that she's completely out of the loop with the goings-on of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "I haven't seen any of them," she said. "I don't watch superhero movies, though. I don't watch anything like that, It's just not my kind of movie."

Dunst, who will be celebrating her 40th birthday next spring, explained that her age is part of the reason she won't be coming back. She joked that the studio, "'Can't put an old girl in there,'" despite the film using de-aging technology on Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus, while also saying, "I'm not in that movie, no [laughs]. I know there's rumors, right?... No, I'm the only one [not in it]."

While on the surface, Dunst's comments seem to deny more than they confirm, her choice of words leaves plenty of room for her co-stars to come back for one last adventure. The poster for No Way Home clearly shows the Green Goblin returning, presumably with actor Willem Dafoe reprising the role for the occasion. The film is also rumored to feature the return of Spider-Man 3 villain Sandman. In the same poster that blatantly featured the Green Goblin, massive clouds of swirling sand surrounded Spider-Man. This detail, along with an article by Empire magazine that specifically said that Thomas Haden Church's Sandman would factor into the film, seems to solidify the presence of some of Spidey's deadliest foes.

However, the most notable rumor that has yet to be confirmed is the inclusion of Spider-Man's star, Tobey Maguire. Over the past few months, fans have pieced together a mountain of evidence that seems to support his presence, with many citing an outfit worn by Holland that mirrors one worn in Spider-Man 3 and comments made actor J.B. Smoove as clear examples of Maguire's return. While these could be left to interpretation, a recent alleged leaked photo shows Maguire's Spider-Man standing alongside Holland and Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield, with all three sporting their signature Spidey threads.

Recently, Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige warned fans to set realistic expectations for Spidey's next movie, saying, "Rumors are fun, because many of them are true, and many of them are not true." However, with so many cases of confirmations and denials, it's unclear if even Dunst is telling the truth about the film's future. The only way for fans to find out for sure is to swing into theaters when Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out on Dec. 17.
