When Spider-Man villains from all across the multiverse start showing up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Peter Parker will have to adapt -- and fast. According to Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland, the wall-crawler will quickly learn to change his fighting style based on which villain he's fighting.

Asked which No Way Home villain he was most excited to face, Holland told CBR, "We were all excited to meet all of them! I obviously had the pleasure of fighting all of them as well. What was really exciting about that is, because all the villains are so different, each fight scene -- in turn -- is very different, so the fighting styles change. So for me, it was just really fun to have to adapt to fighting someone with eight arms and legs and fighting someone who's a goblin and then fighting an electrical current."

"I think it was also fun that they all fully embrace their characters from their previous films, in the style of their previous films," Zendaya added. "It was really funny to see them in our universe, because maybe the way we behave and our villains are are different from the way their villains are... So it's fun to see just how committed they were, and how seamlessly they were able to fall back into these characters."

So far, Spider-Man: No Way Home's trailers have revealed the return of several iconic Spidey villains. For instance, Spider-Man's Willem Dafoe will be back as Green Goblin, while Alfred Molina reprises the role of Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2. Likewise, Jamie Foxx has returned as Amazing Spider-Man 2's Electro, albeit with a brand new look. Spider-Man 3's Sandman and Amazing Spider-Man villain Lizard will appear as well.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker will find his life thrown into complete chaos -- and not just because of the villains that come crashing into it. After all, Spider-Man: Far From Home ended just as The Daily Bugle's J. Jonah Jameson revealed Spider-Man's secret identity to the world. In a bid to get everything back to normal, Peter approaches Doctor Strange for help and requests a spell that would make everyone forget he is Spider-Man. When Strange's attempt goes wrong, Spider-Man villains from across the multiverse begin to turn up, and they all have it out for Peter. As a result, Strange tasks Peter and his friends with wrangling the villains and sending them back -- but at a cost Peter may not be willing to pay.

To see how Peter adapts his fighting style, check out Spider-Man: No Way Home when it arrives in theaters on Friday, Dec. 17.
