Target recently announced its forthcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home Blu-ray release, which features fan art on the cover that was inspired by Doctor Strange's magic.

The exclusive cover art was designed by New York City-based art director, illustrator and designer Cryssy Cheung. In addition to featuring Blu-ray, DVD and digital editions of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Target exclusive Blu-ray release also includes four collectible cards with original art by Cheung.

News of Target's Spider-Man: No Way Home Blu-ray edition comes in the wake of the film crossing $1 billion at the worldwide box office. In addition to becoming the film first to cross $1 billion during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, No Way Home achieved the feat in just 12 days. Additionally, the news comes just days after it was confirmed Spider-Man: No Way Home's opening weekend saw it earn $253 million in the United States and $587.2 million worldwide.

No Way Home also recently set a new record by becoming Sony's highest-grossing film in the United States. The film grossed $405.5 million at the domestic box office over Christmas weekend, surpassing Sony's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which previously held the top spot with its $404.5 million domestic earnings.

Speaking about the film's success so far, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland recently suggested that No Way Home may be the high point of his career. "If I'm honest, I don't think that anything will ever match this -- this is kind of the peak...," Holland said at the time. "It's just a shame it happened when I'm 25."

Following the film's release, Holland also responded to director Martin Scorsese's previous comments about Marvel Cinematic Universe films being more similar to "theme parks" than cinema. "You can ask Scorsese 'Would you want to make a Marvel movie?' But he doesn't know what it's like because he's never made one," the actor said. "I've made Marvel movies and I've also made movies that have been in the conversation in the world of the Oscars, and the only difference, really, is one is much more expensive than the other."

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home is in theaters now. The Target Exclusive Spider-Man: No Way Home (4K/UHD+ Blu-ray + Digital) retails for $27.99 and is available for pre-order now.
