Spider-Man and Nick Fury may never have met face-to-face yet in the MCU but the duo will be spending quite a bit of time together judging by the latest set photo from Spider-Man: Far From Home.
As principal photography on the upcoming sequel continues in Venice, Italy, a new image has leaked showing Fury driving a boat through the city's iconic canals with a costumed Peter Parker in tow.
Production on the MCU film moved to Venice at the end of September after filming in Prague and London. The sequel's story reportedly follows Peter and his high school friends on a school trip over the summer in Europe shortly after the events of the currently untitled Avengers 4.
As speculation on Tony Stark's fate in next year's Avengers sequel continues to mount, it looks as though Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury may replace Stark as more of a mentor figure in the next Spider-Man film.
Helmed by returning director Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Remy Hii, and Tony Revolori. It is scheduled to be released on July 5, 2019.
