Peter Parker is getting a new suit and vehicle in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man relaunch, and it's designed by one of his greatest foes -- Green Goblin.

Marvel revealed Spidey's new suit and glider, which will be featured in the upcoming Amazing-Spiderman series and comes courtesy of Oscorp. Designed by Patrick Gleason, the outfit comes with a digital mask and an egg bomb belt that can release thousands of baby nano-spiders onto oncoming enemies. The new design also gives Spider-Man his very own "Spider Glider" that lays flat on his back when not being used and can additionally function as a rocket pack and miniature lab rover.

Spider-Man's Oscorp suit will appear in Marvel's upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man #7 and #8, both of which release in July and come from writer Zeb Wells and artist/cover artist John Romita Jr. The first issue of The Amazing Spider-Man relaunch releases on April 27 and sees Peter struggle to find someone to turn to after some sort of unknown falling out between him and his companions. The synopsis for The Amazing Spider-Man #1 reads, "WHAT DID SPIDER-MAN DO?! Peter’s on the outs with the FF. He’s on the outs with the Avengers. He’s on the outs with Aunt May! No one wants to see Spider-Man – except for Doctor Octopus. Ock’s on Spider-Man’s tail and the Master Planner has something truly terrible planned for when he gets his tentacles on Spidey. All that, and what does Tombstone have planned? Just in time for Spider-Man’s 60th Anniversary, a new volume of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN begins, and 2022 is going to be the biggest year for Spider-Man EVER! Don’t believe us? We brought John Romita Jr. back JUST FOR THIS!"

Marvel previously announced that the new Amazing Spider-Man run will introduce a deadly new mega-villain called the Sinister Adaptoid, a single entity that has all the combined powers of the Sinister Six. "Zeb and Ed are trying to do the impossible — top Lee & Ditko's Amazing Spider-Man #1!" Amazing Spider-Man editor Nick Lowe previously said of the new series. "And that's not the only thing that #900 has -- including some shocks that are going to make you say WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?!"

Oscorp Industries was founded by Norman Osborne/Green Goblin, who first appeared in 1964's The Amazing Spider-Man #14. The Green Goblin has traditionally been portrayed as one of Spider-Man's greatest foes; although, the two have worked together at times in the past. In 2020's Amazing Spider-Man: The Sins of Norman Osborn one-shot, the two nemeses had no choice but to form a partnership in order to stop the villainous Kindred, who was later revealed to be Osborn's son, Harry.

The Amazing Spider-Man #7 comes from Wells and Romita Jr., with the design variant cover by Gleason, and goes on sale July 6. The Amazing Spider-Man #8 also comes from Wells and Romita Jr. and goes on sale July 27.
