Just like anyone else, Miles loves to mix and match his outfits rather than staying with the same clothing all the time. While his wardrobe isn't as expansive as Peter Parker's, there's still a good variety of costumes for Miles to use in developer Insomniac's second outing in the Spider-Verse.

Updated December 17th, 2022 by Declan Lowthian: With Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse just around the corner, there's never been a better time to revisit the modern classic Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PlayStation. We've revamped this list with even more info about where to find the best-looking Spider-Suits for Miles to wear on his adventures.

10 The Uptown Pride Suit Shows How Much Miles Is Loved By His Community

Unlocked by completing all FNSM App activities

Throughout Miles's journey, he helps his local New Yorkers with their problems. After completing all the side-quests, Miles arrives at a Black Lives Matter mural and obtains this great-looking suit. The suit is mostly just a palette swap version of his classic suit, but with a nice shade of yellow making it stand out.

Much like how Peter was a symbol of hope in the Raimi Spider-Man films after 9/11, Miles is now an icon to help give those who have been most impacted by the events of the early 2020s. This suit is the culmination of what makes Miles Morales the definitive modern Spider-Man.

9 The End Suit Comes Much Earlier Than In The Comics

Unlocked at level 11

"The End" was a What If?-esque series of comics that imagined the final days of some of Marvel's most beloved heroes. Peter Parker's last days were already shown in Spider-Man Reign, so it made sense to use Miles when Marvel brought the line-up back for 2019.

For this suit, Miles keeps his mask and the upper body part of his suit. But this look adds sleek cargo pants and boots, along with a cool-looking hoodie. It's a fun suit, and seeing a young Miles wearing it makes for a neat twist.

8 The 2099 Suit Gives Miles A Shot At Another Spider-Man's Look

Unlocked at level 12

Fans have seen the Spider-Man of the 2099 universe, but Miles has yet to visit that alternate reality. So, artist Lee Garbett was tasked with designing what Miles would look like if he were ever transported to the 2099 universe.

Miles's 2099 features a recognizable hood, but also incorporates the classic 2099 suit's arm spikes and skull-like spider symbol. Miles is set to face off against a version of Spider-Man 2099 in Across the Spider-Verse, so fans may just get another look at this suit as well.

7 The 2020 Suit Adapts A Variant Comic Cover

Unlocked by completing all Spider-Training Challenges and the Final Test mission

For the 13th issue of Saladin Ahmed and Javier Garron's Miles Morales run, comic artist Razzah made a fun variant cover that showed off this tech-inspired suit for Miles. The suit incorporates futuristic tech in a much more obvious way than some others, especially with the digital visor.

Miles maintains some of his signature style in this suit's look, however, especially with the snazzy jacket and the wired headphones. It's the perfect look for anyone really wanting to push the tech aspect of Miles's suits.

6 The Purple Reign Suit Flips The Color Palette

Unlocked by collecting all Sound Samples and completing the Back to the Beginning mission

While Aaron Davis has a "complicated" relationship with Miles, he's still Miles's uncle and a part of his family. The Purple Reign Spider-Man suit was created specifically for the PlayStation game and combines Miles's classic look with Insomniac's interpretation of the Prowler.

Purple and green are usually reserved for Spider-Man villains to contrast his classic red and blue color scheme, but they look great on Miles as well. The fact that the Purple Reign suit is so closely related to one of the most important characters in Miles's life just makes this look even more special.

5 The Animated Suit Draws On Other Iconic Miles Morales Appearances

Unlocked at level 7

The Ultimate Spider-Man animated series isn't as beloved as Spectacular Spider-Man or Spider-Man: The Animated Series, but it did make history for being the first incarnation of Miles Morales outside of the comics. Insomniac was able to capture the look of Miles's suit from the Ultimate Spider-Man show by giving this suit a cell-shaded sheen.

The Animated Suit is a bit immersion-breaking, as everyone else looks more realistic, but that's the fun of optional cosmetics. The cel-shaded effect is perfect for anyone looking to recreate their favorite scenes from any animated Spider-Man show.

4 The T.R.A.C.K. Suit Is A Pastiche Of The Greats

Unlocked at level 6

Another suit created exclusively for the game, The Time Response Activated Circut Kinetic Suit was made by Miles's best friend, Ganke Lee. This suit was designed by Marvel artist Javier Garron, who also worked on a run of Miles Morales comics with Saladin Ahmed.

The T.R.A.C.K. suit resembles a cross between Miles's classic suit, Peter's Advanced suit from the PS4 game, and the "First Family" suit Pete got when he was working with the Fantastic Four after The Human Torch died. Though it draws on several other Spider-Man suits, it hasn't been used in any other Spider-Man media.

3 The Bodega Cat Suit Gives Miles A Sidekick

Unlocked by finishing the campaign and completing the Cat's Pajamas mission

During one of Miles's early adventures in Spider-Man, he rescues a bodega owner's pet cat. After completing the game, Teo, the bodega owner, lets the new Spider-Man swing around with his cat in a backpack.

The best part is that the cat (whose name is also Spider-Man) gets his own mask and even helps Spidey take down enemies during a finishing move. It's an adorable and fun suit and the perfect reward for completing the game's main campaign.

2 The Into The Spider-Verse Suit Puts Players Into The Film

Unlocked at level 13

Miles Morales gained a ton of popularity with 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, so of course, Insomniac had to include a reference to the film in their game. The Into the Spider-Verse suit is perfectly transferred into the PlayStation game without looking too out of place.

The Into the Spider-Verse suit makes Miles's proportions a little more cartoonish and has the distinct cel-shaded look from the movie. The best part is that players can unlock special modifiers that can make the suit move as it did in the film, making this a must-wear for anyone replaying Spider-Man: Miles Morales in preparation for Across the Spider-Verse.

1 Classic Suit

Complete the Time to Rally Mission

Insomniac knew to play it safe when it came to representing Miles's most iconic-looking suit. Aside from giving the red a much more diminished look and giving it a more cloth-like feel than the leather-onesie of old, Miles Morales's Classic Suit is still the same-old suit that fans have come to know and love.

The Classic Suit takes a while to obtain, but it's worth the wait. The dark color scheme helps Miles continue his journey of distinguishing himself from Peter Parker as someone more than "just the other Spider-Man." While Miles gets a ton of fun looks throughout Spider-Man, his original costume is still the best.
