The first official box art images from the Spider-Man: Miles Morales video game have been released, showcasing the young hero in action.

On the cover, Miles is swinging through the air, one of his fists charged with bioelectric energy. The box art features a white banner with the PlayStation 5 logo, and a blue border.

According to the official Playstation blog, all upcoming PlayStation 5 games will feature similar box art. The first wave of games, including Miles Morales, is set to ship this holiday season in time for the PlayStation 5's official launch.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales was announced during the PlayStation 5 reveal. The game is set after the events of Marvel's Spider-Man, and follows Miles Morales as he steps into the mantle of Spider-Man. Miles, voiced by Nadji Jeter, had previously been a supporting character in Marvel's Spider-Man; the game ended with him being bitten by a genetically altered spider and gaining superpowers similar to Peter Parker's. When a battle between a massive corporation and a gang of thieves spills out into Brooklyn, Miles must step up and protect his home.

Developed by Insomniac Games and PlayStation Studios, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available for the PlayStation 5 this holiday season.
