Marvel's Spider-Man featured appearances and references to classic characters from Spidey's world, including J. Jonah Jameson, former editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle and current host of the Just the Facts radio show. While he only ever made a vocal appearance in the game, in the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Jameson will seemingly make a full appearance.

Insomniac has released a new first look clip showcasing a segment of Peter and Miles' chase with Rhino. In the middle of it all, they burst into a studio with none other than Jameson -- dressed in a Santa Claus outfit -- who takes the opportunity to yell at the longtime target of his rants and hit pieces, Spider-Man.

Jameson first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 (written by Stan Lee, illustrated by Steve Ditko). Peter Parker worked as a freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle for years, selling photos of Spider-Man to Jameson, who often printed critical articles of the wall-crawlers adventures, often calling the superhero a menace.

Though not a direct sequel, the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place after the events of Marvel's Spider-Man and its DLC, The City That Never Sleeps, which saw Miles take the first steps to becoming a superhero under the guidance of Peter.

Developed by Insomniac Games and PlayStation Studios, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 12.
