The multiverse is massive and full of every potential possibility -- including confirming some fan-favorite pairings. One such couple can be found among the main comic-incarnations of two stars from Into the Spider-Verse, with two Spider-Heroes getting married eventually led to an extended period of peace for their entire world.

After being teased across various forms of media, what happened on Earth-8 -- a world where Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy eventually tied the knot?

Earth-8 is a world similar to many versions of the Marvel Universe, albeit a few decades ahead of the present day. Notably, this world is seen as a possible future that incorporates elements from Earth-616 (the core-Marvel Universe) and Earth-65 (home to Spider-Gwen). In this reality, it was the spider-themed heroes who eventually became the biggest heroes on the planet, with Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy becoming two of the biggest celebrities on the planet. They even unmasked for the world, defining themselves as the world's greatest protectors. Notably, they also continued their romance into adulthood -- eventually marrying and starting a family of their own. This produced two children, the snarky and confident Max (aka Spider-Boy) and the empathetic and clever Charlotte (Spider-Girl).

All four members of the family serve as heroes on the Amazing Eight, the premiere superhero team of this reality and composed of completely Spider-themed allies. This included an incarnation of Spider-Ham (who'd had a family of his own and has a very close relationship with Miles and Gwen), along with a grown-version of Gerry Drew, a Kraven-inspired Spider-Woman, and a version SP//dr that's implied to be piloted by a version of Peni Parker. This world is all around peaceful, with Max often complaining about how boring it's become. With the protection of the Amazing Eight and under the guidance of President Samantha Wilson (the former Captain America of Earth-65), even Earth-8's Watcher Utaa believes it to be a paradise.

This world was first encountered by the Earth-65 Spider-Gwen twenty years after the highly publicized wedding between Miles and Gwen, who was shocked to meet her future children. Dealing with a villainous version of Miles' father Jefferson Davis, Gwen asked Earth-8 for back-up against him and his allies. While the future Miles and Gwen were absent -- as they were on their second honeymoon -- the rest of the Amazing Eight joined Gwen and Miles in battle. After the battle, this left a confused but hopeful Miles and Gwen to continue to be friends "for now," waiting to see if Earth-8's future was the same kind that awaited them.

Although the Miles and Gwen of that reality haven't been fully introduced yet, it's implied that Earth-8's Gwen and Miles are also far more important on a multiversal level than anyone would expect. On top of having plenty of experience with multiversal travel and conflict, the Gwen of Earth-8 is also implied to be a member of a secretive band of Gwen Stacys from across the multiverse who'd hidden their existence so well, not even the Watchers are fully aware of them. The Earth-617 Gwen Stacy -- who survived into middle-age to become an amazing inventor in her own right -- reveals that her younger self encountered Earth-65's Gwen when she'd been unmoored from her universe by this "Council of Gwens." But doing so ensured Gwen got the chance to outgrow her potential darkness as the new Venom.

Earth-8 seems like a potential happiest possible ending for the heroes of Earth-65 and even Earth-616: a world where multiversal adventures have produced grand heroes, strong allies, and ever-lasting peace. It's also a world where the heroes not only got the chance to fall in love and move forward with their lives but actually survive the potential following chaos and have children of their own -- ensuring future generations of heroes even as they continue to fight on. It'd be fascinating to see a return to Earth-8 -- especially if it, in turn, led to the formal introduction of the Council of Gwens.
