Disney XD has revealed the official synopsis for the finale of Spider-Man: Maximum Venom, the ongoing third season of Marvel's Spider-Man.
Set to air on Oct. 25, Maximum Venom's finale is appropriately titled "Maximum Venom." In it, Spidey and friends' mission to track down the Lizard goes awry when they discover Venom is back with a vengeance. The episode also features appearances by the symbiotes known as Scream, Scorn and Mania.

Maximum Venom -- the ongoing third season of Marvel's Spider-Man on Disney XD -- pits Spidey and his allies against Venomized versions of other Marvel superheroes. As opposed to Spider-Man's previous two seasons, Maximum Venom is comprised of six hour-long episodes, each of which are split into two parts. The season debuted back in April, with new episodes arriving on a monthly basis (with the month of July being skipped).
Marvel's Spider-Man: Maximum Venom stars the voices of Robbie Daymond, Ben Pronsky, Fred Tatasciore, Nadji Jeter, Melanie Minichino, Laura Bailey, Scott Menville, Max Mittelman, Yuri Lowenthal, Nancy Linari and Felicia Day. Its penultimate episode, "Generations," premieres on Disney XD this Sunday, Sept. 27, followed by the season finale, "Maximum Venom," on Oct. 25.
