Jake Gyllenhaal appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and talked about his appearance in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: Far From Home.

As usual, Fallon took the discussion in strange directions, including Gyllenhaal finally joining Instagram, a photoshopped image created for Gyllenhaal by artist Bosslogic of him, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and the actor admitting to a slight obsession with Spider-Man actor Tom Holland.

When it came to the obsession, Fallon showed an Instagram video that Gyllenhaal posted of a Holland interview clip, with some ambiance music replacing the audio and a pink filter with hearts overlaying the video.

Gyllenhaal then added a Happy Valentine's Day message, saying, "love is in the hair."

Whether Gyllenhaal actually created this himself is questionable. He admitted to Fallon that he didn't have the artistic creativity to even accomplish the Photoshop work on the photo on his Instagram page of Mysterio, Wolverine and Deadpool together (with Spider-Man peeking in from the bottom corner).

However, what Gyllenhaal did admit to Fallon was that he was obsessed with Holland. Before the video, Gyllenhaal said Holland was "great" and "awesome," calling him the "nicest guy in the world." He also said he was "super into him as Spider-Man."

After the video played, he referred to him as "amazing," to which Fallon added that he was also "dreamy."

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in Spider-Man: Far From Home as Mysterio, a villain in the comic books who appears to be a hero in the first trailers for the new MCU movie.
