Insomniac's upcoming Spider-Man title will allow players to wear different suits encompassing all parts of the wallcrawler's history. Today, Insomniac announced that one of the suits will be the Iron Spider armor that our hero will wear in Avengers: Infinity War. First gained by Peter via Tony Stark in last year's Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter's never had a reason to wear it until Thanos's Q-Ship shows up in the New York skyline.
In the PlayStation 4 game, each suit will have their own upgradeable power. The Spider-Punk suit, for example, has a power where Spidey takes out a guitar and strums it, sending out a shockwave that KO's any foes in its direction. It's unclear what special power the Iron Spider suit will possess, but it's currently the sixth suit revealed: the Classic Suit with the black spider, the Advanced Suit with the white spider seen in all the game's marketing, the Noir Suit, the aforementioned Spider-Punk, and the Wrestling Suit.
The Iron Spider suit and Spider-Punk suits come as a Spidey Suit pack that players gain via pre-order. The third and final suit in the pack has yet to be revealed, and won't be until sometime in July.
Spider-Man swings onto the PlayStation 4 on September 7.
