With Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse now available on home video, one eagle-eyed fan has shared a quick reference to Wolverine in the animated film.
Redditor bobthebaco has pointed to a blink-and-you-miss-it moment from Prowler chasing Miles Morales through the subway tunnels under Brooklyn approximately halfway through the film. When the Prowler unsheathes his suit's claws as he pursues his nephew underground, the sound effect "SNIKT" briefly is displayed on-screen. The sound effect is the exact same one used every time Wolverine draws his own adamantium claws in the comic books.

As Into the Spider-Verse is produced by Sony, it is highly unlikely that any of Marvel's mutant character would ever make an appearance in the animated world, the sound effect is a clever allusion to the iconic member of the X-Men.
And with the home video release of the film containing a special feature from the filmmakers playfully challenging viewers to spot all the Easter eggs in the movie, more references to different Marvel properties are sure to be scattered throughout the film.
