Next month, various alternate-reality versions of Spider-Man will join forces for an epic adventure in the first animated Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. A new poster shows the main Spider-People in the film ready to go into action.
In the poster, the Spider-People stand before New York City as the sun begins to rise, all posing on a girder. On the left is Spider-Ham, doing a classic Spidey pose, the pulp-style Spider-Man Noir and the main Spider-Man himself, Peter Parker, holding a cup of coffee.
On the right, Miles Morales is seen leaping in the air, while the Gwen Stacy version of Spider-Woman gives a ballerina-like stance and Peni Parker and her mech, SP//dr, do the same thing as Spider-Ham, with SP//dr copying Peni's movement. Completing the poster is the film's title logo, plastered in front of the New York landscape.
Like any good Spider-Man movie poster, this one shows off some of the aspects of Spider-Man that people have come to love about the character, while also adding some more personality to each of the characters. When the film comes out in December, fans will get to see more of their personalities shine thorough in the film.
Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars Shameik Moore, Brian Tyree Henry, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber, Luna Lauren Velez, Lily Tomlin, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney and Kimiko Glenn. The film opens Dec. 14.
