On June 26, you will be able to add the animated epic Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to your Netflix queue.News of Into the Spider-Verse joining the streaming service was announced via Netflix's official Twitter account, along with the message, "Come for the awe-inspiring animation style(s), stay for a beautiful story about the importance of family, teamwork, and believing in yourself."

Released through Columbia Pictures on December 14, 2018, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars Miles Morales and several Spider-Man counterparts from other dimensions who battle the villainous Kingpin to stop a threat from destroying all their realities. In addition to its many versions of Spider-Man, Into the Spider-Verse also features a variety of the web-slinger's rogues, including Scorpion, Prowler and Tombstone.

Into the Spider-Verse was met with mostly positive reviews from both critics and audiences, and it even went on to win the 2018 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Naturally, Sony has said its planning a sequel and several possible spinoffs.
