Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse recently added to its already impressive list of accolades, receiving the honor for Best Animated Film at this year's Saturn Awards. To celebrate the occasion, Mondo has revealed a new, limited edition screenprinted poster for the acclaimed animated superhero film.
The poster -- which comes from artist Martin Ansin -- prominently features Miles Morales/Spider-Man, who appears to be leaping towards the viewer. Miles is flanked by fellow heroes Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Peni Parke, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Ham. Meanwhile, main antagonist Wilson Fisk/Kingpin looms large in the background, with villains Prowler and Doctor Octopus appearing over his shoulders.
'I remember watching the first trailer for it, and it was so hyper and fast and layered that I thought that if I ever got to do a poster for Spider-Verse, I would have to fit all those visuals in there," Ansin told Collider. "I don’t think I could come up with a minimal design that also feels like the movie, it’s just so rich and detailed… the challenge was in finding a way to compose the poster to make all those characters fit together.”
If you want to get your hands on this poster, however, you'll have to act fast. There is not a limited number that will be printed, but there is a cutoff date for orders. Those who want to buy the poster will have to do so by Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 11:59 p.m. After this point, no additional orders will be accepted.
The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Timed Edition) Screenprinted Poster can currently be ordered on Mondo's website. it retails for $60 USD and is expected to ship in October. Orders are limited to one poster per person/household with shipping to select countries only. The poster measures 36 inches by 24 inches. It printed by DL Screenprinting and hand numbered.
