With the release of the eagerly anticipated new Spider-Man game on the PlayStation 4 a little over two weeks away, spoilers revealing the game's story and big twists will inevitably begin to emerge online.Taking this into account, Insomniac Games, the developer of the upcoming PS4 exclusive, is warning players to avoid spoilers and experience the game for themselves ahead of the title's September release.

On his personal Twitter account, Insomniac community director James Stevenson has teased that the open-world superhero game is packed with surprises while urging fans to play the game firsthand and resist posting spoilers from the game themselves at the expense of others.
With professional streamers and press getting advance copies of the game days before of the wide release and copies of the game shipping out for distribution through various retail locations, the arrival of major spoilers and details about the game is only a matter of time.

In the meantime, Insomniac has provided a look at several of the villains poised to confront Spidey in his latest adventure earlier this week, so it will be interesting to see what other surprises the developer has in store for players.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony exclusively for the PlayStation 4. It is scheduled for release on September 7.
