Wendy's Spider-Man Meme Entry Is a McDonald's Burn (Naturally)

WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War, in theaters now.

While many are still heartbroken over Thanos' actions at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, it has only brought out the savage in others, with Wendy's official Twitter account now moving to wipe its fast-food rival, McDonald's, out of existence.

The brand joined the chorus of Infinity War memes online by riffing off of the popular "I Don't Feel So Good" line from Spider-Man, mere moments before he collapsed into Tony Stark's arms and withered away after Thanos' use of the Infinity Gauntlet to bring balance to the galaxy.

Deciding to call out their rivals on using frozen beef instead of the fresh variety, Wendy's snapped their social media fingers with a photo of the McDonald's signature Big Mac burger, applying the same disappearing effect that Marvel's cinematic heroes underwent thanks to the Mad Titan's actions. The McDonald's sandwich is merely left saying, "I don't feel so good," before it disappears under the weight of Wendy's infinite burn.

Wendy's has long been engaged in beef (no pun intended) online with McDonald's for using frozen beef in burgers. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are eagerly waiting to see if there's a clapback and if a social media war has indeed been ignited between two of the world's most beloved franchises. For now, if Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy do get hungry on their quest for revenge in Avengers 4, Wendy's just might be their restaurant of choice.
